Installation, 2017
The beginning of this installation was rooted in a simple question: “If one listens to raindrops under water, how would it sound?”
The setting involves an aquarium containing water, suspended objects, a hydrophone, and two headphones. The hydrophone is strategically arranged to capture underwater sounds based on pressure changes, doubling as a sound filter. As the water continuously drips, the water level gradually rises, causing a shift in the sounds captured by the hydrophone. This dynamic interaction between the dripping water and the hydrophone produces a unique sonic environment that evolves over time.
