The installation delves into a fundamental question: What defines a garden as a garden? Is it the presence of living beings, the act of nurturing and caring, the process of cultivation and growth, the role of stewardship and protection, the symbiotic relationships it fosters,the physical boundaries it occupies, its unique form, the spiritual essence it embodies, the level of control exerted, or perhaps the exchange it facilitates?  ‘Plastic Garden’ seeks to manifest as an authentic garden within the exhibition venue, challenging traditional perceptions of what constitutes a garden. 

The installation includes detailed instructions for the caretakers—typically exhibition staff—on maintaining the Plastic Garden.
