Sound performance, 2021

‘On the Move’ unfolds an installative sonic performance, crafted through a geometric construction. The use of small motorized objects takes center stage, complemented by the stacking and rearranging of furniture. The choreographed movements of these elements not only contribute visually and spatially but also become integral to the evolving sonic narrative. As furniture is stacked, rearranged, and engaged with, the performance takes on a kinetic quality, inviting the audience to witness the interplay of form and sound. The performance intertwines with the voice of Sybella Perry as she reads her publication ‘Rustic Airs,’ exploring the themes of mobility, transformation, and plurality.
