Collage series, 2024-ongoing

This ongoing collage traces the evolving artistic journey of Hye Young Sin, marking shifting moments in her life and practice. Beginning with an official document from her initial move to Berlin in 2014, the work unfolds through a collection of drawings, photographs, and handwritten notes. One of the collage frames features a marked-up page from her first application, capturing a moment of frustration rooted in the struggle to articulate her work—both linguistically and conceptually.
